I'll never forget the day I decided to do something different. My customer, a school district in Texas, handed me a massive binder of documentation from their consultant. It was such a blatant copy-paste job that it still had the name of a previous school district all over it. I couldn't believe it! Talk about a lack of individual attention.
I've been working with customers at every size, industry, and budget for over a decade, and I always get asked the same question: "How can I make my show better with the gear I already use?".
I work on some of the biggest shows in the world, with budgets in the millions of dollars. Most people think their shows can't learn anything from mine. In reality, the principles of what makes a show successful are the same regardless of budget. We're all trying to tell a good story and engage our audience.
